The first bell rings at 8:20 a.m. This bell is the indicator that all students should be in their lines by this time, not just entering the car pool line or exiting a car. The 8:20 a.m. bell is also the signal for all patrol people to report to classes. The duty teacher will remain out until 8:30a.m.
Please be mindful that many of our students arrive by car and the line is long. Parents should plan accordingly, and consider weather and road conditions. WE are finding that there is a lull in the drop offs midway between 8:00 a.m. and 8:20 a.m., and late coming cars are pulling up just as the 8:20 a.m. bell is about to ring or ringing. This is too late.
Upon arriving , if the parents see that the patrol people and duty people are no longer in position, parents MUST park and escort students into school. Please do not park in spots reserved for faculty. Those students not in class by 8:20 a.m. are considered tardy and must be signed in at the office by a parent/guardian. This requirement is for the safety of all students.
Students should be in class by 8:20 a.m., not just dropped off by that time. Please make every effort to adhere to our car pool policy. The safety and timely arrival of every student to school is our objective and we ask for your cooperation and compliance.
